I'm looking into online newsroom software. I just started my investigations and I found that UCLA uses a hosted product called iPressroom. It is very snazzy but beyond my budget.
A non-hosted software product called Xigla’s Absolute News Manager was suggested to me and I have not looked into it too deeply because it is Windows and we run Linux.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Ideally a software product that is not Windows server based. We actually do all of our web stuff in an OS environment but for this I would like something faster. But if you have a good OS idea I'm open to that too! I'm also open to hosted products but cost may be an issue.
