I've had a bit of a debate going on with a blogger named Parker, one of three authors of a blog called BlogCampaigning. It started with this post, which mostly accused me of bias in reporting on MyRagan and MyRaganTV based on the fact that Ragan is one of my clients. Parker recanted after I commented and the debate has since focused on whether niche social networks like MyRagan make sense or whether communicators (or other professionals) would be better off forming groups on Facebook. Now, Parker is asking for any MyRagan success stories. I suspect if he doesn't get any, he'll suggest that his point is proven. I don't know how many readers he has, though, or how many of those participate here at MyRagan. So I think it would be worthwhile, for the sake of balance, for any MyRagan members who are so inclined to visit this post and offer any thoughts you might have. |
